The calm waters, deep lagoon and length of the beach make it perfect for jogging and water sports, while the east's most famous dive site, 'The Pass' lies just off the coast.

Rising in the shape of a sphinx, Lion Mountain provides a challenging hike on the south east coast, however the breathtaking views of Ilot des Roches, Mahebourg and the turquoise lagoon from the top are the perfect reward.
