The glorious Golden Temple

The glorious Golden Temple

The Sikh holy city of Amritsar is the largest in the Punjab. Travellers can visit the famed Golden Temple, which houses the Holy Sikh text, the Adi Granth, and listen to its recitation by the devout. The temple complex also houses the worlds largest free kitchen, or Langar, which serves a free meal for between 100 and 300,000 pilgrims per day - an impressive sight to watch.

Discover Dharamsala

Dharamsala is home to His Highness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in exile. At 1,475 Meters above sea level, the snow capped mountains, quaint monasteries and Buddhist culture have made this one of India's most popular hill stations. Tie in a visit into the Heritage township of Pragpur, around two hours from Dharamsala, with its narrow cobbled streets lined with fort like houses, havelis and villas.
