Central Kalahari Game Reserve Arrive into Maun and take a light aircraft to Dinaka, situated within the vast Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Fly over wide horizons, open grasslands and distinctive semi-arid landscapes. During the stay there will be the opportunity to join morning and afternoon game drives, seeking out the impressive variety of desert adapted wildlife, including black-maned Kalahari lion, cheetah, leopard and brown hyena. Dinaka is particularly rewarding for photographers with an underground hide offering the opportunity to witness wildlife at eye level as animals visit the camps waterhole. Spend time with San Bushmen on an educational walk, learning traditional tracking techniques and the methods in which generations have interpreted and survived the Kalahari environment. Dinaka Camp Set within a vast private reserve, Dinaka Camp is surrounded by open grasslands, acacia woodland and sweeping horizons. South West Okavango Delta Leave the desert behind and watch the landscape transform from the sandy Kalahari into a mosiac of floodplains, islands and waterways. Kanana is situated on a private concession along the Xudum River, an excellent all-round safari destionation that combines rewarding game viewing with the opportuity to experience the Delta from both land and water. Acitivites vary according to season and water levels, which when right allow for vehicles to be exchanged for a mokoro which glide quietly through narrow channels. Birding is exceptional at Kanana and the concession is home to one of Southern Africa's largest seasonal heronries, while the elusive Pel's fishing owl is regularly sighted in the area.
