On your first full day in Kuala Lumpur, take a trip to the Batu Caves. Head north of Kuala Lumpur and spend the morning exploring a Malaysian National Treasure. Batu Caves a limestone hill is home to a series of caves and a sacred site for Hindu believers. View the impressive shipping Straits of Melaka and the Old Portuguese forts. Enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at a local fishing village before to be delighted with a boat ride searching for the magical fireflies.

Join a local guide this evening to discover KL's inspiring foodie scene. Start at Jalan Imbi, a street known for its delicious Chinese cuisine. Next, visit a famous Indian Muslim restaurant or 'Mamak Shops' as they are affectionally known as in Malaysia. After the food adventure, head to a local venue where you'll learn how to make popular Malaysian snacks such as popiah, onde-onde or roti jala. The experienced host will guide you through the cooking process, and you'll get to taste your creations. Today you will travel to the beautiful island of Langkawi and spend seven nights in a tropical paradise. Amidst relaxing on the mile long, white sandy beach, where The Datai Langkawi is located, we have included on this tour an excursion to ascend Mount Machinchang onboard Malyasia's longest cable car. There are three stations of the journey. Arrive at the Middle Station and be amazed with beautiful 360-degree views of Langkawi. From the Top station, take a 2-minute sky glide to reach the Skybridge built on top of Mount Machinchang, 100m above the ground atop virgin rainforest that promises a remarkable view.
