Overview

Nestled in Namibia's stunning Damaraland region, Mowani Mountain Camp blends in harmoniously with the wild, untouched landscape. Luxurious rooms and suites call on authentic African architecture inside and out, creating comforting retreats full of natural, homely touches, and a refreshing swimming pool sits serenely between hefty boulders with a sun deck boasting fantastic, far-reaching views. Thrilling excursions from the lodge promise to excite and fascinate, with options including guided nature drives into the surrounding area, where desert-adapted elephants roam freely, and trips to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein with its ancient rock engravings. The nearby viewpoint is an inspiring spot to sit towards the end of the day, sipping a well-deserved sundowner as the sky becomes coloured with its orange and red hues, gazing out at uninterrupted 180-degree views of the spectacular scenery, and reflecting on the adventures had in the day.
