Experience an exciting day visiting some of AlUla iconic treasures including Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra where you can see the iconic Tomb of Lihyan son of Kuza and the famous Diwan and Siq. Visit monumental Elephant Rock and relish an amazing traditional lunch at the Pink Camel Café. Spend the afternoon exploring AlUla Old Town before returning to your resort in the evening.
Set out from your hotel and gain more insight into AlUla's rich history, your Rawi (or guide) will share the stories of the once powerful kingdoms of Dadan and Lihyan, with its impressive ‘Lion tombs’, the burial grounds of elite members of society, each marked by seated lion sculptures. Explore the valley of Jabal Ikmah where visitors can admire over 450 ancient pre-Arabic writings, inscriptions and petrographs before heading to a Brzan Farm for a delicious local lunch. Finish the day in style with an exciting helicopter tour, delivering a unique view of the stunning landscapes and AlUla’s iconic sites before a stargazing experience in the desert, spotting the constellations of stars in the clear sky, before returning to your resort in AlUla, and prepare to return home the following day.
