Spend an unforgettable two weeks in Fiji discovering the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. These idyllic islands lie off the western coast of Viti Levu and have some of the most striking scenery in Fiji. Feel the warmth of the Fijian people and be greeted with open arms and a bright Bula smile wherever you go. This two week itinerary includes three nights in Viti Levu, four nights cruising the Yasawa Islands on a small ship and seven nights in a five star, adult only resort in the Mamanuca Islands.

place DAYS 1 - 3 - Denarau Island

Bula! Welcome to Fiji, a tropical paradise where vibrant natural colours, effervescent culture and unforgettable adventure blend to make the perfect holiday. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for a three night stay. Spend the next few days relaxing by the resort pool or take advantage of the watersports on offer.

Blue Lagoon Cruises: Yalobi Bay

Following a private high-speed catamaran transfer to the Sacred Islands, you’ll be welcomed aboard M.V. Fiji Princess. Settle into your cabin and have lunch on the ship, then spend your afternoon snorkelling, swimming and relaxing on the beach. Enjoy a complimentary sparkling wine and canapés as you mix and mingle with your fellow cruisers prior to the Captain’s Welcome Dinner.

Today’s destination is the famous Blue Lagoon, a private beach on beautiful Nanuya Lailai Island. This is your chance to jump off the back of the ship as many times as you like and swim to shore. Optional activities include snorkelling, volley ball, water aerobics and a coconut husking demonstration. A BBQ lunch will be served on the beach while tonight’s dinner is a traditional Fijian Lovo — a meal cooked underground in a fire pit. Tonight’s entertainment is a Meke performance by local villagers.

Blue Lagoon Cruises: Sawa-I-Lau

Stretch your legs this morning with a 40 minute guided walk to Lo’s Tea Shop on the other side of the island. Walk back to the ship or travel by water taxi for your cruise north to the sacred Sawa-I-Lau Caves, followed by a visit to Tamasua Village where you’ll enjoy a traditional seafood dinner. Tonight, enjoy the Brooke Shields’ classic film The Blue Lagoon on the Sky Deck which was filmed here in the Yasawa Islands.

Blue Lagoon Cruises: Drawaqa Island

This morning you can choose to visit a local school before heading south again, this time for Drawaqa Island. A marine biologist will join on board to tell guests about the marine life, coral reefs and the conservation programmes that the Vinaka Fiji Trust has been working on in the Yasawas. This afternoon you can take part in some optional extras including diving or handline fishing, go in search of the manta rays or simply relax on the beach.

place DAY 8 - Mamanuca Islands

Enjoy breakfast on board as you cruise back to Port Denarau. Then cruise to the Mamanuca Islands where you will spend the next seven nights relaxing in paradise.

place DAYS 9 - 15 - Mamanuca Islands

Spend the next few days staying in a five star, adult only resort and doing as much or as little as you like. There’s a great range of non-motorised water sports to try, from snorkelling and paddle boarding to kayaking and Hobie Cat sailing. For those wishing to discover more about the reef and the delicate marine ecosystems, there’s a 5 Star PADI dive centre where guests can learn to dive or go on a deep-water adventure. What better way to revitalise the body than a gentle swim in the salt and freshwater swimming pools. Or try a glass bottomed boat tour and watch the serenity of this thriving underwater world.
