Day 1 – 3
Your holiday will begin in Venice with a two night stay at Baglioni Hotel Luna in a Deluxe Room on a breakfast basis. This historic Venetian hotel dates back to the 12th century and is centrally located in the heart of Venice, situated in San Marco overlooking San Giorgio Island and the San Marco Basin. Explore all this magically city has to offer before setting off on your cruise on day 3. Explore the city with a gondola ride through the canals, visit the many art museums, shop in the cities unique shops, or visit the spectacular St. Mark’s Basilica.
Day 4
The first stop on your cruising adventure is Zadar, located on the northern Dalmatian Croatia. This city is rich with history and culture and is home to a historic old town of Roman ruin, cosmopolitan cafes, medieval churches and a variety of museums. Nature lovers should be sure to visit the Plitvice National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A trip to Zadar is not complete without trying their signature drink, Maraska liqueur.
Day 5
Next dock at Kotor, a coastal town in Montenegro situated in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. This town features a spectacular location, situated between towering mountains and the pristine bay. Full of culture, history, museums, churches, café-strewn squares, and Venetian palaces and pillories, guests will be spoiled for things to do. Be sure to visit the old city wall built by the House of Nemanjicc, a UNESCO World Heritage site and also the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon.
Day 6
The next stop is Corfu, Greece. This Greek Island located in the Ionian Sea is well known for its spectacular landscape, pristine sandy beaches and its historic old town, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend your day visiting Spianada Square, climbing the Old Venetian Fortress, or simply relaxing at one of the beautiful beaches.
Day 7
Next your cruise will dock at Katakolon, a seaside town in Greece. Visit Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Relive the roaring cheers of the spectators as the athletes took their marks on the marble starting blocks, and picture the temples, the treasuries, the porticoes and statues as they were.
Day 8
The next stop on this incredible journey is Gythion, a stunning seaside town in Greece. This town features a beautiful coastline and pristine white sand beaches. Be sure to visit the Theatre, located near the entrance to the city, which is home to the ruins of the Temple of Athena and the Gates of Castorides.
Day 9
The next destination on this cruising journey is Ephesus, Turkey. Ephesus was one of the largest cities in all of the Roman Empire, featuring one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. Spend your day exploring the ruins of its massive Theater, the Temple of Hadrian and the magnificent Celsus Library.
Day 10 – 11
Dock at Istanbul, Turkey. Spanning Europe and Asia, exotic Istanbul is one of the world's most fascinating cities. Domes and minarets enhance the skyline. Landmarks include Hagia Sophia, once Christendom's greatest church; the Blue Mosque with its striking Iznik tiles; Topkapi Palace, containing a sultan's ransom of treasures; Chora Church with its Byzantine mosaics; and the Grand Bazaar, the ultimate shopping experience.
Day 12
The next stop is Mykonos, Greece. The allure of the Cycladic island of Mykonos is well established, with its glamorous nightlife, tantalising gastronomy, spectacular beaches and picturesque villages. There can be few views more iconic or more memorable than that of the Mykonos windmills – the whitewashed, spherical thatched buildings looming over the town below are endlessly photogenic.
Day 13
Your cruise will end in Athens, the capital city of Greece. This ancient city is famous for its rich culture, ancient ruins, and beautiful beaches. Spend your day exploring this fascinating city with an abundance of attractions to see including the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Acropolis of Athens, a citadel situated on a rocky outcrop containing ruins of several ancient building, namely the Parthenon.
